The dental team continued with lectures, screening, and periodontal surgeries as part of this year's medical mission.

The Bhutan dentists were grateful for the training. They thought Dr. Kao was straightforward and empathetic in his teaching approach. On the side, one of them asked me why we weren't staying for at least one month! 

Wrapping the final days with Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan. Our team is happy to visit with patients and their families as they recover from their deformity repairs.

Day 5 in Bhutan: Wrapping Up and Evaluating Our Medical Mission We finished the surgeries we scheduled. Long days with super spicy food and chai. The surgical and teams grew closer as we we collaborated.

The team is in-sync with the Bhutan side of the equation. They are as excited to have us as we are to be here, all with the goal of helping our fellow humans.

A busy day in Bhutan for the IEP team. An introduction with the Honorable Health Minister followed by meeting some of the patients and families.

The Hon’ble Health Minister today met with the IEP team of dedicated medical volunteers to welcome them to Bhutan.

The IEP team is grateful to Princess Kesang Choden Wangchuck for the invitation to serve the people of Bhutan.
