The Electrical Engineering Programme at CST successfully conducted the Final Year Project (FYP) Defense on 16 June 2026. The event provided a platform for graduating students to present the outcomes of their capstone projects, reflecting months of research, design, analysis, and practical implementation.

The projects addressed a wide range of contemporary engineering challenges, including renewable energy systems, solar photovoltaic technologies, power system analysis, distribution network modeling, power quality assessment, relay coordination, and sustainable transportation solutions. Several projects also included prototype demonstrations and site visits, highlighting the students’ ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications.

The defense sessions fostered meaningful discussions, allowing students to demonstrate their technical competence, critical thinking, and communication skills while receiving constructive feedback on their work. The event marked an important milestone in the students’ academic journey and showcased the department’s continued commitment to producing skilled and innovative engineering graduates.

The Programme extends its sincere appreciation to all faculty members, staff, and participants who contributed to the success of the event, and congratulates the students on their outstanding efforts and achievements.
