Laughingthrush Adventure

Our American birdwatcher, seven day birdwatching trip to western Bhutan concluded with 92 bird species recorded, including 33 lifers, and we’re absolutely delighted with the outcome.

𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲-𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻

It is small, yet a big achievement. We are talking about this particular species that needs our help more than ever to survive. Its number increased by two this year. Bhutan now has 31 of them. Yes, we are looking at the White-bellied heron.
