Eat Rio

When it gets a bit chilly, Rio's botecos really come into their own. All of a sudden, the heavier, heartier dishes make even more sense. Here you see a sublime cozido from .rj, made with chickpeas, couve and slices of paio sausage. I would have licked the plate clean... (my vestiges of dignity, and fear of public shaming, stopped me 🥺 😉 ).

Beautiful food, wines served by sommelier and super-guide, , and an open kitchen in the middle of a stunning private art collection. I finally made it to .cozinha in Laranjeiras and it was worth the wait! 😍 ❤️

Finally made it to last week and was not disappointed - everything was delicious, especially this amazing polvo (octopus). Not a cheap eat, but for some delicious seafood it hit the spot.
