Before there were smartboards and state of the art facilities, there were just four walls and a massive promise. Following 138 years of history, with thousands of early mornings, there were quiet moments of joy that never made the yearbook.

Looking back at the original blueprints and early classes, it’s easy to focus on how much the physical school has grown. However, the real story mapped its foundation brick by brick, building a legacy that will travel beyond every wall. The same foundation set decades ago is what our students stand on today.

Enjoy the beauty of Saltus campus in its nascent form and its early students; while also featuring Alumni Class of 1996 currently celebrating their 30 year anniversary.

15 - 20 years ago, they walked out of these halls. Today, they’re running the room, saving lives and meeting the world.

Some things change: The lockers get replaced, the technology upgrades, and uniform styles evolve. But one thing that is unshakeable is the courage and deep respect for our 2006 & 2011 graduates now exploring the vastness of the world today.

Bronze at The Commonwealth Games for Jessica Lewis '11!

Massive congratulations to Saltus alumna Jessica Lewis ’11 on winning the Bronze Medal in the T53/T54 400m final at the Commonwealth Games!

Already a 4-time Paralympian, Parapan Am multi-champion, and 2015 IPC bronze medalist, taking the podium at her debut Commonwealth Games is yet another spectacular milestone in an already legendary career.

Jessica pushed through a brutal headwind in lane six to secure Bermuda’s first medal of the 2026 Games, proving once again what true dedication looks like.

The entire Saltus community is cheering you on, Jessica—keep blazing trails!
