Minimalism is changing. Less sterile. More sensory.

Today’s interiors are moving away from sharp contrasts and empty spaces. Instead, designers are embracing texture, warmth and materials that create a stronger connection between people and place. From grounding greens to layered neutrals, colour plays a key role in that shift. First reflects this evolution through a renewed palette designed for contemporary spaces.

How do you see minimalism evolving?

Movement takes many forms.

With its dynamic criss-cross pattern, First Sway introduces rhythm, texture and visual energy into a space. Balancing precision and spontaneity, it transforms every floor into a composition that changes with perspective.

Some foundations never go out of style.

First has been shaping interiors for years. Not because it follows trends, but because it adapts to them. Why designers keep coming back to First:
✔ Timeless design
✔ Proven durability
✔ Suitable for reuse
✔ Mix & match within the First concept
✔ Combines effortlessly with other modulyss collections
✔ Fits a wide range of environments

Some designs connect everything around them.
First Forward is created to do exactly that. Available as carpet tile and broadloom, its understated character and versatile palette make it a natural foundation within the First design concept. Effortlessly compatible. Endlessly adaptable.

Tactile Tension
What happens when calm meets contrast?

Deep greens collide with rich burgundy, natural wood and tactile surfaces.
Soft textures meet solid materials. Earthy tones shift between warm and cool.
Different in character, connected by colour.

Nature of Space.

Where nature meets design. Where ideas become spaces.

At Nature of Space, architects and designers came together to explore biophilic design from different perspectives. From Cédric Dethier’s vision to Studio Zorro’s take on bringing those principles into practice.

Some designs stand out. Others stand the test of time. For years, First has helped shape workplaces, educational environments and hospitality spaces across Europe. Now, its refreshed colour palette opens up even more possibilities for contemporary interiors.

REFINED MINIMALISM. FUNCTIONAL DESIGN.

Some designs don’t need reinvention. They simply evolve. First returns with a refreshed colour palette inspired by today’s interiors. Richer tones. Softer neutrals.
New possibilities for spaces that balance flexibility, functionality and design. The same trusted foundation. Reimagined through colour.
