DOF 009 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: HYPNOISE THEORY

A true staple of the Belgian acid scene, Hypnoise Theory has been active since 2011.

With releases on respected acid and hardcore labels, alongside his own imprint, Chimera Pact, he’s built a reputation for raw, high-energy sets combining fast-paced acidcore with a heavy hardcore influence.

If you saw him close out DOF 005 in 2024, you know exactly why we invited him back for round two.

DOF 009 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: INFRAKONTROL VS INVAZED

French-based Infrakontrol discovered his passion for music through guitars and drums before diving into production and hardware in 2014.

Blending distorted rhythms with captivating harmonies, he has developed a unique sound built around powerful grooves and hypnotic atmospheres. His highly skilled hardware performances turn emotions into an immersive musical journey, creating a dynamic on the dancefloor like few others.

Mental tekno powerhouse Invazed is no stranger to DOF. In 2019, he played DOF 002 as one half of the acclaimed duo Invadon, followed by a solo performance at DOF 004 in 2023.
Now, he returns for something special: an exclusive 2-hour live set together with Infrakontrol.

We couldn’t be more excited.

DOF 009 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: LING LING

Ling Ling has the exotic origin of South Korea and Switzerland, but nowadays has his headquarters of musical madness in Vienna, Austria.

In his younger years, two of his friends were talking about a strange language containing words like oscillators, VCFs, and more. From that moment on, the young Ling Ling was determined to learn this mysterious language of machines and all things electronic.

The TB-303 seemed to become his favourite word in this new language, and before long, he and this strange little machine became best friends.

Today, Ling Ling speaks this language called Acid in many different dialects. It’s safe to say that he can bring this timeless phenomenon to life in every way possible. By releasing these universal frequencies on his own label, FTSK, as well as on other respected imprints, Ling Ling proves that he is here to stay.
