We had the pleasure of welcoming students from .schoolofarts for a behind‑the‑scenes tour at Graphius Group.

They followed the full journey of a book through our printing plant: from prepress and colour checks to the presses, cover production, binding and the manual finishing steps that machines cannot do.

We also talked about why it pays to involve your printer early, so paper, colour, format and finishing can really support the final design.

Big thank you to Thomas for guiding the visit and to all students for their curiosity and enthusiasm.

De Profundis is a book that captured Enrique Marty’s exhibition in the Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp. New paintings, created specifically for that space, translate his long fascination with Rubens and the cathedral into a quiet search for meaning and beauty on paper.

is an Antwerp-based candle brand built around the idea of turning everyday moments at home into something a little more special. Each fragrance starts from a clear mood or memory and is translated into a scented candle.

Scents such as Black Fig & Neroli, Lipstick Stains & Cinnamon Sins and Caramel Leather & Incense Innuendo sit next to seasonal editions that play with warmth, brightness or a more nocturnal feel. Together they form a collection that is easy to recognise without losing the character of each individual scent.

At Graphius we enjoy working on brands where naming, visuals and printed packaging have to carry so much of the experience. If you are developing a similar lifestyle or fragrance concept and want to explore how print can support it, we're happy to think along with our partner , part of the Graphius Group.

Anxious To Please is a new photobook by Ottilie Landmark that looks at fe**sh relationships through a quiet, human lens. Over the course of five years she photographed people who invited her into their private world, with the aim of showing intimacy, trust and negotiation rather than shock value.

The book combines Landmark’s images with interviews by writer and curator Anastasiia Fedorova, whose text adds context and a reflective voice to the visual work. Together they explore how desire, vulnerability and connection can be documented without turning people into stereotypes.

As printers we are interested in books that take on complex subjects with care and nuance. Anxious To Please is one of those projects where photography, writing and book design work closely together to hold a difficult conversation on paper.

Jack Bush, the Canadian painter described as a pioneer of colour with a deep impact, is at the centre of this multi-volume Catalogue Raisonné. His work moves from landscapes to bold abstraction and shows how colour and form can go far beyond representation.

The publication brings that development together in a slipcase edition. With 540 pages at a format of 292.1 by 292.1 millimetres and printing on matt coated white 150 gsm, the works and the accompanying texts are given room to breathe on the page, as highlighted in the Graphius Magazine feature.

For Graphius, projects like this underline how important it is to see art catalogues not only as beautiful objects, but also as books that are actively used by curators, researchers and collectors over many years.

If you are interested in how extensive catalogues and monographs are produced, you will find more examples of recent projects here in the coming months.

Célébrations Toscanes is a book about more than recipes. It is about turning everyday meals into small celebrations, with Tuscany as the backdrop.

Across almost three hundred pages you move between seasonal dishes, sunlit gardens, ceramic plates and the rolling hills around L’Olivotto. The photographs were all shot in natural light, which gives the food and the table scenes the same softness you feel in the countryside itself.

For us this project sits right between artbook and cookbook. The design, photography and production work together to create a world that feels simple and generous at the same time, which is exactly what the author wanted to achieve in her kitchen.

The Six of Antwerp celebrates forty years of six designers who helped put the city on the global fashion map: Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene and Marina Yee.

The book is published to accompany the large-scale exhibition at MoMu – Fashion Museum Antwerp, running from 28 March 2026 to 17 January 2027. Essays by leading fashion experts and an exceptionally rich image selection turn it into a reference work on creativity, courage and renewal in fashion.

For a publication that is meant to live in museum shops, studios and archives, production is part of the story. Paper, binding and print quality all influence how the book feels in the hand and how the book ages, how it feels after many readings and how likely it is to stay within arm's reach.

Curious what this could mean for your next exhibition or fashion book? Contact us via the link in bio if you would like to discuss your own art or exhibition book.

“A plant is, in fact, the ideal embodiment of the organic machine, alive, but mechanical in what it does.” — T.H. Savory 🌿

Book of Plants, 3rd edition by Anne Geene reveals a quiet world where leaves, buds, stems and branches come together in endless variation.

Through collecting, merging and sequencing, new images emerge. What seems ordinary on its own becomes extraordinary in relation. A subtle play of rhythm, form and organic intelligence.

Printed in full colour (LED-UV) on 90 g/m² EOS paper for razor-sharp detail and luminous colours. The cold-glue binding allows the book to open perfectly flat, letting every composition unfold seamlessly across the spread.
