&D

------------------------

Everyone deserves the opportunity to grow. ❤️

At Sidec, we believe talent matters more than limitations. That's why we invest not only in technology, but above all in people.

Our colleagues Izabella and Lowie share their inspiring story in the book Werk Werkt ("Work Works"), which brings together 40 stories of employees with disabilities and the people who support them every day.

"By learning step by step and being encouraged to ask lots of questions, I found my way. Now it all feels familiar." – Izabella 💬

When Izabella joined Sidec as an intern, it was a step into the unknown for everyone. Today, she has become a valued member of our R&D team. Thanks to her talent, perseverance, and the support of colleagues like Lowie, she proves every day that giving people opportunities truly makes a difference.

Lowie, R&D Manager at Sidec, highlights the mutual value of this journey: "The company gained a reliable employee, and Izabella found a place where she can truly be herself."

Because inclusion isn't about focusing on what someone can't do—it's about discovering together what is possible. And that's something we're incredibly proud of.

Great news! 🎉

Terradec.outdoor is now officially included on the Flemish Government's list of permeable paving systems that comply with current regulations.

For us, this is a great confirmation of what we have been focusing on for years: research, testing, and a carefully engineered system design.

The strength of Terradec lies not only in the surface layer, but in the complete system. With three fully permeable layers, specific layer thicknesses, and carefully selected aggregate sizes, we ensure that rainwater can infiltrate efficiently.

💧 70x more permeable than the required standard
💧 Buffering capacity of 129 litres per m² - 4 times more than required

This means we not only meet today's regulations, but are also prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Goed nieuws! 🎉

- Outdoor Living

Terradec featured in Greenpro! 🌿

We believe the outdoor spaces of tomorrow require smart water management solutions. That’s why we’re proud to see Terradec featured in Greenpro as a sustainable alternative to traditional paving solutions.

Terradec is our permeable paving that allows rainwater to infiltrate directly into the soil. The result? Reduced flooding risk, no puddles, and outdoor spaces that are ready for the future.

✔ 70x more permeable than the standard
✔ Up to 4x more water buffering capacity than required by Flemish standards
✔ Low-maintenance and weed-resistant
✔ Slip-resistant, frost- and thaw-resistant, extremely strong, and no loose stones
