Memory outside brain.

"Can skin and liver 'remember'? Does our body store memories everywhere?

For a long time, memory was thought to be a specialized function of the brain, with our neural circuits and brain cells handling all our memories. But recent research from New York University has turned this assumption on its head. According to this study, even cells outside the brains can store and retrieve memories, opening up a new view of how our entire body participates in memory process. This discovery doesn't just add to our understanding of memory - it could just change how we approach learning and treatment for memory-related disorders."

In the Quran Earth, sun and moon prostrate to Allah. Skeptics claim that whoever wrote the Quran made a mistake, planets spin but never bow. Today astronomers confirm that that Earth sun and moon have axial tilt.

"Axial Tilt

In astronomy, axial tilt, also known as obliquity, is the angle between an object's rotational axis and its orbital axis, which is the line perpendicular to its orbital plane; equivalently, it is the angle between its equatorial plane and orbital plane. It differs from orbital inclination. At an obliquity of 0 degrees, the two axes point in the same direction; that is, the rotational axis is perpendicular to the orbital plane.

The rotational axis of Earth, for example, is the imaginary line that passes through both the North Pole and South Pole, whereas the Earth's orbital axis is the line perpendicular to the imaginary plane through which the Earth moves as it revolves around the Sun; the Earth's obliquity or axial tilt is the angle between these two lines. Earth's obliquity oscillates between 22.1 and 24.5 degrees on a 41,000-year cycle."

Earth's tilt oscillates between 22.1 and 24.5 degrees. Similarly the sun and the moon have axial tilt. This was known recently, however this was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years ago.

Quran 22:18
Do you not realize that to Allah prostrates everyone in the heavens and everyone on earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the animals, and many of the people? But many are justly deserving of punishment. Whomever Allah shames, there is none to honor him. Allah does whatever He wills.

Or like the depths of darkness in a vast deep ocean, overwhelmed with waves topped by waves, topped by clouds: depths of darkness, one above another: if a man stretches out his hand, he will not see it! If Allah does not give light

Bioluminescence
Biology - Extreme

Give their own light.
In the Quran, in deep waters where a person cannot see his own hand, Allah can still give light. Skeptics claim that whoever wrote the Quran made a mistake, sunlight can only reach 200 meters. Deeper than this there is no fire or any source of light so there cannot be any light below 200 meters. Today scientists discovered bioluminescent animals that produce their own light; thousands of metres deep.

"Bioluminescence

Distribution
Bioluminescence occurs widely among animals, especially in the open sea, including fish, jellyfish, comb jellies, crustaceans, and cephalopod molluscs; in some fungi and bacteria; and in various terrestrial invertebrates including insects. In marine coastal habitats, about 2.5% of organisms are estimated to be bioluminescent, whereas in pelagic habitats in the eastern Pacific, about 76% of the main taxa of deep-sea animals have been found to be capable of producing light. More than 700 animal genera have been recorded with light-producing species. Most marine light-emission is in the blue and green light spectrum. However, some loose-jawed fish emit red and infrared light, and the genus Tomopteris emits yellow light."

Animals can produce their own light by bioluminescence. This was known recently however this was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before it was discovered:

"If a man stretches out his hand, he will not see it! If Allah does not give light to a person he will not have light!" in this verse a person cannot see his hand using sunlight but Allah can still give light. This implies that in deep waters there is light but not from sunlight. Today scientists confirm that in deep waters animals can produce their own light by bioluminescence.

How could an illiterate man who lived 1400 years ago have known about bioluminescence?

Brainstem
Physiology - Extreme
Linked to sleep and death.
In the Quran sleep and death are linked. Skeptics claim that whoever wrote the Quran made a mistake; sleep and death are not related. Today scientists confirm that brainstem, brain organ that regulates the sleep cycle, is also linked to death.

Brainstem regulates the body's sleep cycle:

Brainstem integration of arousal, sleep, cardiovascular, and respiratory control

The brainstem contains several critical areas involved in control of behavioral arousal, wake-sleep cycle, cardiovascular function, and respiration. Sleep and arousal are associated with profound changes in arterial pressure, heart rate, and respiration. Reciprocally, signals from brainstem areas controlling these functions promote arousal from sleep. These interactions involve neurons distributed throughout the rostrocaudal extent of the brainstem. These neurons primarily utilize the excitatory amino-acid L-glutamate or the inhibitory amino acid γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and their activity is modulated in a state-dependent manner by cholinergic, monoaminergic, and peptidergic neurons in the brainstem and hypothalamus. Recent studies in rodents using optogenetic and other approaches for selective activation or inactivation of specific groups of brainstem neurons, identified by their unique expression of neurochemical markers, have led to a reevaluation of classical concepts on the brainstem mechanisms controlling arousal, wake-sleep cycle,1–3 cardiovascular function4–6 and respiration.7,8 Some of the findings are supported by clinico-pathological correlations in humans and provide insight into the brainstem pathophysiology of disorders such as multiple system atrophy (MSA), obstructive sleep apnea, congenital central hypoventilation syndrome, sudden infantile death syndrome, and sudden unexpected death in epilepsy.
