All with the world watching in real time.” On Friday, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said that Palestinians in Gaza are enduring what may be the cruelest phase of the war. Appealing for safe humanitarian access, he said the UN has the personnel and systems in place to deliver life-saving aid. “Let’s do it right. And let’s do it right away,” he urged.

“The revolution remains unfinished.” Thirty years ago, the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action changed the world. But the work is far from done.
