যেসব সংখ্যার শেষ digit ৫, সে সকল সংখ্যার বর্গ বের করার নিয়ম দেখুন:
১৫×১৫ = ২২৫
২৫×২৫ = ৬২৫
৩৫×৩৫ = ১২২৫
৪৫×৪৫ =২০২৫
৫৫×৫৫ = ৩০২৫
৬৫×৬৫ = ৪২২৫
৭৫×৭৫ = ৫৬২৫
৮৫×৮৫ = ৭২২৫
৯৫×৯৫ = ৯০২৫
এখানে লক্ষণীয় যে প্রতিক্ষেত্রে শেষে ২৫ আসে । আর যে সংখ্যার বর্গ বের করতে হবে তার বামের digit টার সাথে ১ যোগ করে প্রাপ্ত যোগফলকে সেই বামের digit গুন করতে হবে (১+১=২×১=২,(২২৫) ২+১=৩×২=৬(৬২৫))।
