We conducted an interesting workshop on incorporating 3d printing and laser engraving / cutting technologies in architectural modelmaking; both in academic and professional capacity.

It touched on : Modelmaking in design process, Contemporary practices at home and abroad, Available methods and materials for modelmaking and lastly, a detailed discussion about the workflow and management regarding the technologies.

MRT VIADUCT, Farmgate

This model depicts the arduous process of MRT viaduct construction. The segment launcher, the cranes and the loaders working through the hustle and bustle of Dhaka was the primary subject.

KALNA BRIDGE, Narail

This 690m long bridge is the first Nielesen-Lohse Arch Bridge in Bangladesh. Constructed by a joint venture of Tekken-AML-YBC; it will ease communication between Dhaka and Benapole.
