About the Company

Universal Codejet Ltd. is a growing engineering and technology company specializing in industrial coding & marking solutions, including Inkjet printers and laser marking systems. We work with international brands from Europe and China and provide solutions to various industries across Bangladesh.

To support our growing import operations and financial management, we are looking for a Sr. Executive- Commercial & Accounts, who can efficiently manage import documentation, VAT/tax compliance, and company accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Import & Commercial:
-Handle import documentation (PI, LC, Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
-Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and C&F agents for shipment and customs clearance
-Follow up on LC opening, amendment, and document processing
Track shipments and ensure timely clearance from port

2. VAT & Tax:
-Prepare and maintain VAT registers and Mushak forms
-Assist in monthly VAT return submission
-Maintain proper VAT documentation and compliance
-Assist with income tax documentation and audit support

3. Accounts:
-Maintain daily accounting records
-Manage accounts receivable and payable
-Prepare financial reports and reconciliation
-Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance

4. Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
-Accounting
-Finance
-BBA / MBA (Major in Accounting/Finance)
-Commerce

5. Experience Requirements

2–3 years experience in:
-Import & Commercial operations
-Accounts and Finance
-VAT & Tax compliance

Industry preference:
-Import-based trading company
-Industrial equipment or machinery company

6. Required Skills
-Knowledge of Bangladesh Customs procedures
-Knowledge of VAT Act 2012
-Basic understanding of income tax compliance
-Experience with LC documentation
-Good skills in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
-Ability to coordinate with banks, suppliers, and clearing agents
-Good English communication for dealing with international suppliers

7. Salary & Benefits
