কুমিল্লার চৌদ্দগ্রামের ঐতিহ্যবাহী চিওড়া কাজী বাড়ি অসামান্য ইতিহাস, প্রাচীন স্থাপত্য এবং গুণীজনদের বিচরণক্ষেত্রের জন্য পরিচিত। বহুকাল আগে এই পরিবারের এক সন্তান বিচারক বা 'কাজী' পদে আসীন ছিলেন, যার নামানুসারে পুরো বাড়ির নাম 'কাজী বাড়ি' হয়ে যায়। বহু কীর্তিমান রাজনীতিক ও বুদ্ধিজীবীর জন্মস্থান হওয়ায় একে ‘তারায় ভরা বাগান’-ও বলা হয়ে থাকে।
