We got up early - so early that the guy at the ticket office didn't start working yet - climbed up the mountain and got rewarded with this spectacular view of the Kotor Bay (or how I liked to call it the Kotor Fjord).
After filming, jumping and climbing I was ready for my hot stone massage at the beach!;)

After crossing the Croatian and Bosnian border several times we arrived at the port of Kotor hidden in the Mediterranean Sea's only fjord. An intact medieval trading town which is nowadays flooded by Cruise Ship tourist - fortunately only during daytime!:)

Check out my video about it - link is in my bio!

Tourist magnet in Croatia - Game of Thrones City - Dubrovnik was rebuilt back to it's former beauty after the Balkan War. There were times were the Dubrovnik merchants were just as rich as their competitors over the Adriatic Sea in Venice. To secure their wealth, massive city walls were built which are one of the main attraction for tourist visitors today.
I made a short video on it - the link is in the bio.

The cultural capital of Herzegovina. The bridge that was built by the Ottomans in the 16th century was such an achievement that it later gave the city its name. It stood 24m high above the Neretva River for more than 400 years until it was destroyed by the Croatian (yes, not the Serbians!) forces during the 90ies war. After ten years it was reconstructed with international help. Christians live on one side of town while Muslims reside mainly on the on the other side.

Ezstergom, Hungary's Catholic capital, with its grand Basilika overlooking the Danube valley. Hungary's first King was crowned here and subsequently turned the wild Hungarian horsemen into mild Christians.
