After four tough race meetings in four weeks, we finally brought home a trophy—my first in Cadet 12s at ELKC’s September Club Day! 🏆
The field was smaller than it’s been over the past few weeks, but the racing was just as intense, with plenty of battles and some super-clean racing.

Qualifying: 6th
Heat 1: 2nd
Heat 2: 3rd
Heat 3: 3rd
Final: 3rd 🥉
Congratulations to Jax and Leonardo on your podiums, and thanks to all the competitors for some close, clean, fun racing.
The past four weeks have brought frustration, disappointment, bent go-karts and everything in between—but they’ve taught me to never give up.

🏁 Oakleigh Club Day 🏁
Day/night meeting
What a fantastic day at for their September club day! A strong field of 23 made for some exciting racing.
Results:
- Qualifying: 10th
- Heat 1: 10th
- Heat 2: 10th
- Heat 3: 7th
- Final: 8th

AKC wrap up
What a weekend! The event was HUGE, the competition was fierce, and unfortunately… the weekend didn’t quite go to plan. But that’s racing! 🏎️
THURSDAY — SETUP DAY
First look at the event and WOW… this place was seriously impressive! 😳
The scale, the atmosphere and the number of karts had us pretty excited for the weekend ahead.
FRIDAY — PRACTICE
Four sessions on track — two practice sessions and two timed sessions to sort out the groups.
With 54 drivers in the field, competition was seriously tough. And with only four girls racing, I was pretty proud to be one of them!
SATURDAY — HEAT DAY
Qualifying put me P24 in my group, ready to fight my way forward.
Heat 1: P22
Heat 2: DNF
Unfortunately, Heat 2 ended early thanks to a mechanical issue. Not exactly the result we were hoping for! 😬
Huge thanks to Dad for getting stuck in and working his magic to get me back out there.
SUNDAY — HEAT 3
Starting from P26, I knew I had work to do!
And I got stuck straight into it — by turn 3 I got to P18!
Then… racing happened. 🤦♀️
An incident ahead caught me out and a mistake of my own dropped me back to **P21** by the finish.
Unfortunately, that meant no final — and missing the final was definitely the biggest disappointment of the weekend. That was the goal, and I really wanted to be out there fighting for it.
But hey… you don’t learn much from the easy weekends! 😉
This weekend gave me heaps to take away, plenty to work on and even more motivation to come back stronger. 💪

This weekend marks a major step in my racing journey I’ll be competing my first-ever Australian Kart Championship event.
I’ll be taking on Australia’s best drivers at my home track, Puckapunyal, where every lap, every decision and every heat will count.
The goal is simple: stay focused, push hard and earn my place in the final.
The event will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and 7plus. I’ll share the schedule as soon as it’s released.

ELKC July Club Day 🏁
We delivered strong speed throughout the day.
The field featured 11 competitors, including 5 girls. 💪
Results:
- Qualified: 3rd
- Heat 1: 3rd
- Heat 2: 2nd
- Heat 3: 4th
- Final: Running 2nd early on, before engine issues saw us drop to 8th 😬
- Overall: 4th
Shattered to miss the podium but that’s racing 🏁

VCS Round 3 – Portland
Another new track for me this weekend, and it’s no secret that it was a struggle.
Portland was a steep learning curve with a field of 29 drivers, but every lap was a chance to learn. Saturday threw plenty at us with wet and cold conditions, while Sunday was just freezing! Despite the challenges, I improved my times every session and gained a heap of valuable experience.
To top it all off, my side pod decided it had enough and came flying off in the final race 🫣
My mechanic (dad) is probably getting fired! 🤣
A huge shoutout to the Cadet 12s! The grid was packed with incredibly talented drivers, and it was awesome being able to race alongside them.
Plenty of lessons learned, lots of fun had, and now it’s time to focus on the next one.
Back racing again this weekend at Pucka!

🏁 Oakleigh Club Day Recap 🏁
What a fantastic day at the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club for their April club day! Competing in a large field of 24 cadets (combined 9s & 12s) made for an exciting atmosphere on the track.
Results:
- Qualifying:13th
- Heat 1:11th
- Heat 2: 9th
- Heat 3: 9th
- Final:8th
We made notable progress across all aspects of our racing, and most importantly, it was a lot of fun!
