I got my sh*t together and I went viral đ«Łđ
The feeds are full of AI generated content right now.
And people are switching off.
78% of people say they canât tell what images are real anymore. Consumer trust in AI content has dropped from 60% to 26% in two years.
But hereâs whatâs cutting through all of itâŠ
A real face. The actual human behind the business.
I know because I was terrified to be that person.
I manage social media for other businesses. I push every single one of them to get on camera.
And I hadnât posted on my own account in six months.
So I changed my approach. Completely.
Swipe through to see exactly what I did, the results it got, and what that looks like for your business.
If this landed for you, follow along.
There is a lot more coming in this series.
My comeback. Except weâre actually talking about yours.
Iâm a social media manager who lost her confidence on her own business account and gained it through sharing personal things that bring me joy . So Iâm using myself as a case study and documenting the whole thing.
Because what got me unstuck wasnât a strategy or a content plan.
What got me out of my rut was repetition. Showing up somewhere with zero pressure until my brain stopped treating the camera like a threat.
Thatâs actually how the brain works by the way. Repetition builds familiarity. Familiarity kills the fear.
Follow for the next one. Iâm spilling three things you can implement straight away.

For most of my career, I had a very clear answer when someone asked whether they needed a website.
The conversation was simple.
People needed somewhere to learn about your business, understand your services, and decide whether they trusted you enough to become a customer.
Then AI arrived.
For the first time in 15 years, I found myself rethinking that answer.
Because the way people find businesses is changing in real time.
Today, someone can ask ChatGPT a question and get recommendations in seconds. They can compare options, research providers, and narrow down choices before they ever visit a website.
That raises an interesting questionâŠ
If AI can provide information, what role does a website play now?
AI can help people find you.
But it still needs somewhere to learn who you are, what you do, who you help, and why your business deserves to be recommended.
And when someone eventually clicks through, they still need confidence that youâre the right choice.
If anything, websites are becoming more important.
For years, we built websites for people.
Now weâre building them for people and AI.
The businesses that do well in the next few years wonât be the ones with the cleverest marketing.
Theyâll be the ones that are easiest to understand.
By people and AI.
Curious whether youâve changed the way you think about websites since AI arrivedâŠ

Choosing brand colours from a colour chart can feel weirdly stressful, hundreds of tiny squares, and somehow youâre meant to pick the ârightâ ones.
Hereâs the thing: inspiration doesnât live on a chart.
It lives in your favourite room, the café you always go back to, photo from a trip that still makes you pause.
Look at the places/things that already feel like you, capture it, that feeling is your starting point.
And this works for more than just colour.
No fully fledged brand yet? The same trick gives us a direction for your whole website
- layout, mood, the way it should feel.

I know what youâre thinking.
Yeah, yeah. SEO. Iâve heard this before.
Stick with me for a second, because most people nod along and then keep going with a website thatâs working at about 40% of its potential. And I donât want that for you.
So before we get into it, try this.
Think about the last time you searched for someone. A tradie, a specialist, a service you needed. You typed something into Google. Maybe you asked ChatGPT. Maybe Siri answered before you even finished the sentenceâŠ
You didnât scroll through 6 websites comparing every single one. You clicked the first result that felt relevant, had a clear message, and looked like it knew what it was doing. And you made a decision pretty quickly.
Thatâs exactly what your potential clients are doing right now.
And if your website wasnât built with structure, clear messaging, and the technical foundations that help Google and AI understand what you offer, youâre not even in that conversation.
Hereâs whatâs usually missing:
* Clear messaging that tells search engines exactly what you do
* SEO structure that gives your pages a reason to rank
* Schema markup so AI tools can read and recommend your business
* A layout that guides people to actually say yes
Design is the last step. Visibility is the foundation.
If your site was built before any of this was considered, itâs probably working at half capacity.
Thatâs worth knowing.

New website live for Avro Sheetmetal â a custom sheet metal manufacturer based in Albury that has been operating since 1977.
This one was a great project. A local trade business with a strong story, a brilliant team, and a clear point of difference against the big national suppliers. Our job was to make sure that came through in the copy and design.
Custom copywriting, full custom website with custom coding for a unique design finish and seo for high visibility.
Head over to avrosheetmetal.com.au to see it live.
