Returning home from our Trip to Tumbarumba. Tumut Valley

One of the best things from this sad week is to be able to take the camera out for a spin and capture an amazing snapshot of the milky way.

Today started with an early morning start to capture the sunrise. The temperature was a brisk 7 degrees, which turned out to be warmer the home. Waubs Bay Bicheno, The Blow Hole at Bicheno, Friendly's Beach lookout, Coles Bay and Cape Tourville Lighthouse were some of the sights visited.

Later this afternoon we arrived at Bicheno. The view to the Tasman Sea is just out the front of our accommodation, where the surf was up. We are expecting some rather wild seas over the next few days. The rocks at the waters edge have that distinct red colour about them.

Today we travelled to Bicheno via Swansea. Swansea was our lunch stop, where we grabbed a bit to eat at the H***y Cray, followed by sight seeing and a wonder down to the beach.
