's (former of ) continues to anchor at Manila recently. Her first voyage for Peace Boat has further been postponed to December this year.

With news that Grand Princess is coming to Australia in 2022/2023.

パシフィック・ワールド号に「PEACE BOAT」をペイント！

クルーズの再開に向けて着々と準備を進めています。
ピースボートの新チャーター船となるパシフィック・ワールド号の船体には、ついに「PEACE BOAT」の文字が！

現地入りをしているスタッフから写真が届きました。
船の先端やお尻の部分には「PACIFIC WORLD」の文字もしっかりとペイントされています。今は中国のドックでメンテナンスを行いながら、たくさんの皆さんを乗せて航海できる日を心待ちにしています。

Formerly the Sun Princess Pacific World is currently in Zhoushan Youlian Shipyard in China where she will be undergoing her transformation into Peace Boat Pacific World.

According to Chinese Media, This maintenance project involves six major sectors, including the maintenance of thrusters, fin stabilizers and other propulsion and positioning equipment, the maintenance of sea valves and auxiliary piping systems, etc. And will take about 4 Months to complete.

What a year 2020 has been!
Who would have thought at the start of this year we would be using words such has pandemic, quarantine, outbreak, lockdown, coronavirus, social distancing and that some of us would be wearing masks!
And that we would see cruise ships been escorted from Sydney harbour by Sydney Police / Border Force!!
Lets Hope 2021 is better year ☝ and that we might be able to cruise! 🛳. ^Stu

Sun Princess has left Manila and is currently heading up north either to Japan or Korea?
Onboard, her name has been changed to Pacific World after being chartered to Peace Boat.
