What a night. 🙌
Yesterday we brought together a brilliant panel to dig into Generation Trapped — CIS research exploring what young Australians aged 18–34 really want out of life, and why so many feel like it's slipping out of reach.
The answer might surprise you: young Australians want exactly what their parents and grandparents wanted. A home. A family. A stable income. Work that means something. But fewer than 4 in 10 believe they can actually overcome the barriers standing between them and those goals.
Huge thanks to Parnell Palme McGuinness, Jacqui Munro, and Jack Tossol for a conversation that was honest, sharp, and genuinely important.

Australian classrooms are among the most disorderly in the world. That's not an opinion — it's the backdrop to a new CIS research project launched last night in Sydney.
Blaise Joseph, Tom Bennett OBE, and Manisha Gazula came together to make the case: improving student behaviour isn't a side issue. It's the precondition for academic achievement — and Australia is falling behind.
Improving Student Behaviour in Schools is the CIS Education Program's new research project examining how schools and school systems can turn this around.
More to come.
