Who is Olly?
Federico Olivieri, known as Olly, is a singer-songwriter and rapper born in Genoa on May 5th, 2001. His father is a lawyer, and his mother is a magistrate, but he has chosen a completely different path: music.
Since he was a child, he had clear ideas and dedicated himself to studying singing and music at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Genoa. He studied there for four years but didn’t complete the course, explaining in an interview: “I was also playing rugby at a high level and had to make a choice in terms of time.”
Despite criticism and some controversial choices, Olly remains one of the most relevant emerging artists in the new Italian scene. With his mix of urban and pop and his ability to create hits, his name will continue to resonate for a long time, or at least, we hope so
