Dear friends and customers.
I have been absent lately for a lot of reasons. The latest has been the hardest.
My youngest son Clayton lost his battle with head and neck cancer leaving us all with a huge hole in our hearts.
It will take me some time to heal and hopefully I will find my passion again. Please have patience with me. He was the best of men and loved by all he met. RIP my beautiful boy 💔

Just a few more days until Christmas and I'm sure we are all busy doing those last minute things.
It's been one of the hardest years I've ever had to endure for our family, with losing a much loved family member, our beloved cat and my son going through a third round of chemo for his returned cancer.
I'm in the kitchen sorting through all my recipes, it helps to keep busy. I have had extra cooking to do this year with some of my family members having allergies.
This book is my favourite go to with beetroot on the stove from the garden and coconut jam drops in the oven.

We will remember them

With it being so close to Christmas it's time to work through some of the stash on my back verandah. 😏I've been putting off doing these because they all need rubbing back to bare wood and reupholstered. Not my favourite job 😕 🥴🤣 Wish me luck! 😁

I realised how close Christmas is today so decided it was time to clean up the mess of discarded furniture at the end of the patio. 😬 first cab off the rank are a set of 6 chairs. They have been left in the elements for a while so need to be sanded back to bare wood and I will also need to reupholster the seats in a more modern fabric. Not my favourite jobs. 🥴 Wish me luck 😂😅

This beautiful old piece is such a classic. It will fit into most decors either modern or traditional. Still strong and sturdy and it is sure to become a family heirloom. Built by Frank Parry around 1920-1930 this piece was designed and built in Western Australia

WIP. So close. 😊 This 1920s -30s buffet was made by Frank Parry. A Western Australian furniture manufacturer. They were made to last back then. With a lot of sanding and a few updates this classic beauty could fit with either modern or traditional decor. There are a few defects as you would expect for its age but it is solid and would be a great addition to any home.
