"Home Ownership is independence and freedom – as an older and disabled person it also makes a difference to my health and quality of life. I think it is a necessity as well as my home is modified to address my physical and mental health needs – this in turn gives me the space to be able to be a better version of myself and in turn can have more meaningful and contributing community interactions and social opportunities as well. My home is truly my sanctuary!"

Did you know you may be able to increase your purchase price range through a shared equity home loan? With our Urban Connect Shared Equity Home Loan, the State Government buys a share of your home, acting as a silent partner. This means the size of the loan needed to purchase the property is reduced.
This loan could offer an alternative if you’re unable to afford the full purchase price of the property. Plus, you can use your First Home Owner Grant towards your deposit if building a new home.
