A slice of the Wizarding World has arrived in Perth, with the Forbidden Forest experience opening in Kalamunda for the first time in WA.

The immersive Harry Potter trail brings the magic of Hogwarts to life across a 1.5km journey through the Perth Hills, already attracting fans from around the country.

It’s sold more than 30,000 tickets as “muggles” and witches prepare to step into the spellbinding world from tonight.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

Wizards Assemble: Calling all Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherins! Grab your wands and step into the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience this winter in Perth.

When Dawn McIntyre and Susan Harris responded separately to a public call out for people connected to the Titanic, neither knew their family stories had already crossed paths more than a century ago.

Their relatives had worked side-by-side below deck as firemen aboard the Titanic, carrying out the exhausting and dangerous work of keeping the ship running during its final hours.

Meeting for the first time at Titanic. The Human Story in Northbridge, Dawn and Susan discovered a connection shaped by courage, loss and history – one that had quietly linked their families for more than 100 years.

It was a powerful reminder that behind every historic event are deeply personal stories that continue to live on through generations.
