Looking for something a little different to do this long weekend?

For four nights only, Elizabeth Quay will transform into a giant open-air canvas for The Story of Kooyar 🐸 A free, immersive nighttime experience bringing a Noongar story to life through animation, light and sound.

Follow Kooyar (frog) through the six seasons as the Derbarl Yerrigan comes alive with flowing waterways, wildflowers and soaring black cockatoos, alongside roving Karak puppets and live performances from Corroboree For Life.

Running continuously from 7pm–10pm, it’s an easy one to add to your long-weekend plans and an opportunity to experience a powerful story of Country, culture and connection.

Following Epilepsy WA’s appearance before the Senate inquiry into epilepsy care last month, CEO Emma Buitendag has continued to call for meaningful action from both State and Federal Governments to address gaps in epilepsy diagnosis, treatment and support across Western Australia.

From coffee runs (an essential part of agency life) to client events, learning new skills and getting out on location for an exciting upcoming activation, it’s been another busy one at the PRC.

We pride ourselves on working closely with our clients, and weeks like this are a pretty good reflection of what that looks like. We’re not an agency that sits on the sidelines. We’re there for the events, the learning, the shoots, the big moments and everything in between.

PRC, but make it 1986...

Big hair. Bigger shoulder pads. Same big ideas.

Turns out we would’ve looked pretty good pitching stories by fax, making media calls from a landline and calling a 24-hour turnaround “express”.

Thankfully, the PR game has changed a little since then.

This Sunday, Emma McGann, Elisha Kasteel and Rebecca Atkinson will set off at 5am to walk 38km from Northam to York, raising funds and awareness for Lifeline WA and its vital crisis support and su***de prevention services.

With a goal of raising $10,000, the walk is about more than the kilometres covered. It’s about starting important conversations around mental health, particularly in regional communities, and reminding people that support is available no matter where they live.

The trio are expected to arrive at Settlers House York at around 3pm, and the community is encouraged to get behind them as they cross the finish line.

We’re so pleased to support this wonderful grassroots initiative and help share Emma, Elisha and Bec’s story as they rally their community behind Lifeline WA.
