We would like to sincerely thank Nikki Boyd MP and Councillor Jim Moloney for their generous donation in support of our Sleep Rough Night.

Their contribution has supported our student-led initiative to raise both funds and awareness for our valued community partnership with Chameleon Youth Housing, helping to support youth experiencing homelessness and hardship within our local community.

Together, we are demonstrating the power of community—coming together to support those who need it most and creating positive change for our local community.

Year 12 Outdoor Recreation students embarked on their Reef Camp during Week 7.

The trip was one for the memory books as the weather was perfect all week allowing students clear visibility whilst in the water snorkelling and also spectacular sunsets during the afternoon trips to the beach. Students also enjoyed a vast array of other activities including fishing, bushwalking, outrigging and beach games. Concluding the week students participated in Konomie's Got Talent as well as a reflection session around the fire. This camp is a symbol of the finish line as the Year 12's approach the finish line of high school.

We would like to thank Mr Weller, Mrs Campbell, Chappy Dave and Mr Russell for making this camp happen as without dedicated staff, these special experiences don't occur.

With the cold, wet weather we’ve been experiencing, it’s a timely reminder of why our students are taking part in the Sleep Rough initiative — to raise awareness of the challenges faced by young people experiencing homelessness and to support the incredible work of Chameleon House.
We encourage our school community to get behind this student-led initiative by making a donation or sponsoring a student who is participating in the sleep out.

Donations can be made using the QR code or via the following link:

Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference.

Thank you for helping our students turn compassion into action and make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable young people in our community.

Take a look inside our new ITD building!

There's been plenty happening around the school, and it's exciting to see these projects taking shape. We look forward to seeing more improvements come to life and the positive impact they will have on our students and school community.
