This morning, we celebrated the end of another incredibly successful Cygnets season!

Every Saturday morning, 44 of our tiniest Swans took to the field with endless energy, big smiles, and so much determination.

A massive **THANK YOU** goes out to our incredible coaches—Kev, Susie, Josh, and Andrew. Thank you for stepping up, putting your hands up to lead a team, and mentoring our littlest players each week. We appreciate you!

We also want to give a huge shout-out to all of our amazing families for helping with all the odd jobs that come with getting the kids out kicking a footy—we couldn’t do it without our village.

Today, all of our players celebrated a fantastic season the right way: with a well-deserved Saturday morning sugar hit, a shiny medal, and their official team photos! 🏅🍬📸

The future of our club is looking incredibly bright. See you all next season!

This Saturday, Sammy Barkla runs out for her 100th Senior Game.

Sammy is tough, committed and one of the most selfless players you’ll come across. She’s the first to put her hand up to do the team thing, even when it comes at the expense of her own game.

Reliable, competitive and fiercely loyal to her teammates, Sammy has become a cornerstone of our group and has left a positive impact on every team she’s been part of throughout her football journey.

A work-hard, play-harder type of person, Sammy’s off-field efforts often rival the energy she brings on game day. She’s someone who makes teams better, clubs stronger and teammates closer.

Congratulations on 100 senior games, Sammy. A fantastic achievement and one that is thoroughly deserved.

🏉 VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK: SIMON STAFFORD 🏉

If you are looking for the definition of a true club person, look no further than this week’s winner: Simon Stafford! 🦢✨

Simon is one of those incredible people who genuinely wants our club to be a positive, welcoming place for everyone, and he proves it every single week with his actions.

Currently, he’s the Assistant Coach for our Under 9 Girls, but his support doesn’t stop there. He is constantly checking in and helping out with the Under 13 Girls, Under 15 Girls, and Under 17 Boys whenever and wherever he can.

Even an injury couldn’t keep him away from his beloved Plovers! Despite being sidelined, Simon still packed his bags and travelled to the game this past weekend just to support the team and help out from the sidelines.

On top of all his coaching and player support, Simon has also jumped into the canteen multiple times already this season. He is truly someone who, if you need a hand, will always say yes if he can.

Simon, thank you for your infectious positive energy and for everything you do across so many different teams!
