Pick your favourite bunny… I dare you.
I think I’m a glutton for punishment cause I really want to make these again. Should I do it or am I crazy. You can find these cute little moulds online and if tempering chocolate isn’t your thing you can simply use store bought compound chocolate and you can use oil based flavours to enhance the chocolate flavouring. I added Milo and marshmallows and coverture chocolate drops and even instant coffee to some of them so they had all different flavour profiles. To use them simply heat up a cup of warm milk drop in a chocolate bomb and stir. This is a super cute idea for gifting to family and friends at Easter time. I use a combination of Lustres with spirit to hand paint Plus edible pens to add in the details. Bring on the Easter content!

Happy Valentines Galentines and Laventines Day lovers! A little wafer heart rose for you. 🩷
I’m back with Valentine’s Day content. For anybody looking for a fantastic Italian meringue buttercream recipe head over to my website. It’s free of charge for you guys to just snavel. The glass a citruses are such an easy thing to do at home and adding in a little bit of food colouring really makes them pop and they last for months and months. Don’t forget to tell me about your Valentine’s Day plans. Big love from me to you. Monica 🩷
I’ve used a Loyal Geo heart mould with compound white chocolate so I don’t have to temper it. I’ve added in some chocolate oil based flavour of coconut into the chocolate to make it taste better and then colour meal oil blend colours to create all the different patterns and colour the other moulds like the little hearts and the pieces on the corner. You can make marshmallows from scratch or if your time poor like me store bought will do just fine. I found a range of multicoloured marshmallows and I didn’t mix them too much when they melted so I could get this unicorn rainbow pastel effect on the inside. Handy tip is do not heat your marshmallows up too much as this will reduce that awesome pull effect when you break into it. I think next year I’ll do a whole bunch of mini ones of these they’re so cute and really delicious. You could even hide some sprinkles inside or other sweets so when your loved one breaks into it they get an extra surprise. 🩷

Cupid has been reassigned. Meet the Baketine Angel.
She floats in, flour-dusted and slightly dramatic, asking the important question…
What do you want for Valentines?
Sleep?
A social life?
A cake studio?
World peace and perfect buttercream?
Swipe through and pick your Baketine wish. The last slide is mine… and I’m not even pretending to be subtle about it.
Tell me yours in the comments. Are we asking for roses or cake toys this year?
Do you know that moment where something pops into your head as to how you can make something so much easier and simpler and then it works out actually happens? This is one of them. I spent so much time trying to find easier and fast away to doing things so that I can encourage more beginners a new business into our beautiful industry and this was 100% a success story .
