FREE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE
Medicare Mental Health Check In is a fully funded Australian Government service offering early support for people experiencing mild mental health challenges, such as stress, low mood, worry, or difficulty managing everyday pressures.
To access the service, people can call Medicare Mental Health on 1800 595 212 and speak with a trained professional. They'll help you decide if Medicare Mental Health Check In fits your needs and, if it isn't right for you, they'll help connect you with other support.
For people from multicultural communities, including refugees and migrants, this service offers an accessible and convenient way to get mental health support and prioritise their wellbeing.

Language and accessibility support
Medicare Mental Health Check In values the importance of being inclusive of the needs of diverse communities. Interpreters are available in more than 150 languages, and website resources are translated into 10 languages (Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Filipino, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Punjabi, Spanish and Vietnamese).

CELEBRATING RESIDENT CENTENARIANS
Nominate, attend, celebrate - City of Greater Dandenong residents who have reached 100 years old!

Today, the ladies at Friendship Café had a wonderful time getting creative with the very talented Carolyn.

Carolyn guided the group in making beautiful handmade containers, perfect for keeping little treasures, trinkets, pens, keys and other small items. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session and had lots of fun creating something special to take home.

A big thank you to Carolyn for sharing her time and talents with us, and for putting so much thought and effort into preparing everything for the session. We truly appreciate it!

Recycling Made Easy – council tips and guidance on recycling correctly and reducing waste

Falls Prevention (Monash Health) – practical advice covering balance and strength, home safety, safe mobility, and simple tips to help reduce the risk of falls
