Due to the large amount of rain received this afternoon, the Under 9 Girls and Under 11 Girls Gala Day at Redbank Plains has been cancelled.

The decision has been made in the interests of player safety and field conditions.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and thank all players, families, coaches, volunteers, and officials for their support.

We will reschedule this event.

Please be advised that due to the current condition of the fields at Anzac Park, we alongside Ipswich Rugby League have had to make the difficult decision to relocate all games scheduled at Rosewood tomorrow to Brothers Rugby League Club.

Families are encouraged to check Play Rugby League for updated kick-off times. Ipswich Rugby League has worked to minimise disruptions; however, some game times may have changed as matches are now being accommodated across the available fields at Brothers.

We would like to thank Brothers Rugby League Club for making their facilities available at short notice, ensuring our players can still take the field this weekend.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and flexibility and look forward to seeing our Roosters families supporting our teams throughout the day.

🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT – TARYON 🌟

Today we shine the spotlight on someone who truly embodies what it means to be a Panther.

Taryon wears many hats around our club – Club Secretary, U13 Girls Coach, Sports Trainer, Head Sports Trainer, Referee Supervisor and the driving force behind much of our Social Media and Communications.

If you've spent any time around Springfield Panthers, chances are you've seen Taryon hard at work. Whether it's helping players, supporting families, mentoring volunteers, organising behind the scenes, running the main tent, assisting officials, answering questions or making sure game day runs smoothly, she is always there with a smile and a willingness to help.

Over the past three years, Taryon's dedication has played a huge role in the growth of female participation within our club. Through her passion and commitment, she has helped create pathways for girls and women, supported coaches and volunteers, built strong relationships within our community and helped create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Her contribution to Springfield Panthers goes far beyond any title. She leads with heart, gives countless hours of her time and continually puts the club and its people first.

On behalf of everyone at Springfield Panthers, thank you for your dedication, hard work and unwavering commitment to our Panther family. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
