It’s not always a sports injury. 🦴
A shoulder that won’t settle, a ni**le in the knee, tendon pain that lingers - musculoskeletal ultrasound looks at your soft tissue, tendons and joints in real time, with no radiation and none of the waiting-room dread.
If something’s been bothering you, imaging can help get to the bottom of it. Find out more at ultrasoundinsight.com.au.
Introducing the best new hire we’ve made all year. 🐾
Blondie has joined Ultrasound Insight as a companion dog for our paediatric patients - because a wagging tail does wonders for a nervous tummy.
Scans can feel big when you’re small, and Blondie is here to help our littlest visitors feel calm, curious and a bit braver before their appointment. Come say hello next time you’re in. 💛

A quick moment of pride from us this week.
Our co-founder and sonographer, Tabitha Gosden, is presenting at the Australasian Sonographers Association Annual International Conference on the Gold Coast this weekend, the largest gathering of sonographers in the world.
Tabitha has been selected as a “New Voice” speaker and will deliver two presentations:
Friday, 2:00pm – “Male pelvic floor: Not just a women’s issue”
Saturday, 11:30am – “Breaking the norm: Ultrasound’s untapped potential for fractures”
Both sessions reflect something we believe deeply at Ultrasound Insight. That general sonography is a discipline worth pushing further, and that curiosity, careful research and a willingness to look beyond standard protocols can genuinely improve the answers patients receive.
To anyone heading to ASA2026 from across Australia and New Zealand, we hope you have a brilliant few days of learning. And to Tabitha, from all of us at the clinic, we’re proud of you.

Sore wrist from the job? Don’t just push through it.
From repetitive strain to a knock on site, wrist injuries are common in hands-on work. What feels like a minor ache can sometimes involve tendon irritation, ligament strain, or even small tears that need a proper look.
Ultrasound is a quick, non-invasive way to assess the wrist in real time, helping your GP or physio understand what’s going on and guide the right treatment.
Getting it checked early can mean less downtime and a safer return to work.
Wrist and musculoskeletal ultrasound is available at both our Springfield Central and Jindalee clinics. Referrals from your GP or specialist are welcome.

It’s National Families Week, and family is at the centre of so much of what we do.
Pregnancy scans for parents-to-be. Paediatric ultrasounds for the little ones. Pelvic and abdominal scans for grandparents.
We see whole families across our clinics, and we love that we get to be part of these moments, big and small.
Our Jindalee and Springfield Central clinics are family friendly. Pram space, calm waiting areas, and sonographers who actually like working with kids.

Three things to know before your pelvic ultrasound, from our sonography team.
1. Drink water. For most pelvic scans, we ask you to drink one litre of water in the hour before your appointment and keep your bladder full. A full bladder gives us a much clearer view.
2. Allow a little extra time. Pelvic ultrasounds are detailed scans, so your appointment may take a bit longer than expected. We take the time to be thorough and ensure everything is assessed properly.
3. Bring a support person if you’d like. A partner, friend or family member is welcome in the room.
If you have a referral and you’d like to book at our Jindalee or Springfield Central clinic, give us a call on (07) 3170 1352
Happy Mother’s Day to every mum, mother figure, and woman in the middle of the path to becoming one.
To the women who scheduled scans around school pick-ups. To the women holding their breath during early pregnancy appointments.
To the women still hoping. To the mums of grown-ups who taught us what care looks like. We see you, and we’re grateful for you.
From all of us at Ultrasound Insight, Springfield Central and Jindalee.

Today is the International Day of the Midwife, and we want to take a moment to thank every midwife we work alongside.
Midwives walk with families through some of the biggest moments of their lives. They listen. They advocate. They translate medical language when it gets too much. They notice the things no one else catches.
To the midwives across south east Queensland who refer patients to us, who ring through with questions, who care for families before, during and well after birth, thank you.
Because care is better together.
From the moment you walk through our doors, everything is designed to feel calm, supportive, and reassuring - for both patients and the people beside them. Whether it’s a first scan or a follow-up, having someone by your side makes all the difference.
Now open in Jindalee, delivering thoughtful, patient-centred imaging for every stage of care.
