Police have a man in custody but urge anyone who has footage of a blue Hyundai Getz driving erratically in Rockingham or Byford on Friday night to please contact Crime Stoppers.

We recently sat down for a heartbreaking interview with Caitlin and Ellen to talk about a campaign to get Makaia to Chicago where she could benefit from lifesaving treatment having exhausted all her options in Australia.

Makaia was born with Alagille syndrome and a complex congenital heart condition. She has already endured major open heart surgery, countless hospital admissions and more procedures than most adults will ever experience.

A specialist team at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago believe there may be a surgical pathway for her there but there are costs involved.
