This is the beautful mama that welcomed us (Lean family) 21 years ago into her heart and home. Since then she has facilitated host families for 260 one salt members and friends in her home village. A woman worthy of honour!
So grateful for her life of faith and action Winnie KalfauπΊπ
On the island of Efate, Elder Winnie begins every translation session the same way: by spreading the Bibles across her mat or table β Bislama, English, and her Lelepa drafts β and praying. βPlease God, help me translate this phrase into my own language,β she prays, βso the pikininis (children) will understand.β

Back on Nguna island for a day for the first time in 10 years! We really appreciated the warm welcome of the village and the opportunity to meet so many members of the community. A unique setting for the day clinic (the chiefs nakamal) with elaborate carvings and high ceilings.
Also really thankful to run a women's health education session concurrently with the clinic session.
Many thanks to for the donation of βDays for girls' pack given out on Nguna Island!

Can you feel the joy from these photos of the team trip to PNG?
Thank you Moses and Wayne for leading the team and massive thank you to the people of Kaparoko who give such a beautiful welcome!π
The team experienced 'fishes and loaves type multiplication' with antibiotics for the community; in the way so many back here in Australia gave in big and small ways to add blessing; to experience the timeless and powerful message of Easter - resurrection joy and life more abundant. John 10:10

The junior OSW dance crew were excited to share some of the classics (including Ombaiyo from Cook Islands) at Mueller multicultural day today.
Ombaiyo is a prayer song meaning come Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Thanks for letting us be part of your amazing school program!.β’
