From Group 1 glory to the equestrian arena! 🏇

Michael Freedman Racing is proud to sponsor our Racing Manager Sophie Johnson and our 2023 Group 1 Randwick Guineas winner Communist for Equimillion 2026.

The pair will compete in the eventing and showjumping at Sydney International Equestrian Centre this October long weekend.

Back to back wins today for the son of Arrowfield Stud Snitzel.

Saluting the judge under a patient ride from Tim Clark over the 1400m Rosehill Gardens Racecourse he claimed his fifth win from just 7 starts.

A great thrill for his new owners who snapped up recent shares on Inglis Digital.

💙🤍 Farewell to our OG, Bunker Hut 💙🤍

Bunker Hut (Savabeel x Pretty) was purchased as a yearling by China Horse Club & Newgate at the 2021 Inglis Auctioneers Australian Easter Yearling Sale from Sledmere Stud / Waikato Stud .

He arrived at Royal Randwick Racecourse that May under High Street Racing, before Michael Freedman Racing even existed.

Later purchased by Darby Racing Syndications , he has been with us through it all: the ultimate original and a pillar of consistency for our stable in both NSW & QLD.

Now retiring at the age of seven years, he leaves the racetrack with 33 starts, five wins, nine seconds and six thirds, earning $504,125. From his first win at Kembla Grange to Saturday metro victories at Rosehill and Doomben, he kept showing up and giving his all giving his owners and the team at home some wonderful memories!

Our stunning boy has a big heart and plenty of character, including those grumpy faces at feed time. So reliable to handle and travel, he was the horse many new starters learned to strap and take to the trials and races. He is loved by all of us.

A special thank you to his strapper, Dips, who has been by his side and cared for him throughout his journey. ❤️

He may not have earned Group status on the racetrack, but he has always been a Group performer to our team.

Thank you for everything, Bunker. We wish you the happiest retirement and look forward to finding you the best home and following your next chapter after racing. 🐎

🔵⚪️ BAT OUT OF HELL ⚪️🔵

Found his way back to the winners circle yesterday Eagle Farm/Doomben under apprentice Jai Williams over the 1200m.

The 7yo gelding by Yarraman Park Hellbent, left well from the gates and stuck to the inside fence throughout the trip. He went on to push past the leader over the final furlong to claim his second metro win for Darby Racing Syndications

An excellent way to kick off for his first time under the MFR banner.
