Parents, this one’s for you. Read through to learn about what cartoon questions are, the key skills students need, how to identify the main message, why facial expressions and visual clues matter, and how humour, irony, and exaggeration can shape meaning.

We are pleased to announce that enrolments for Term 2, 2026 are now open.

Our Integrated Blended Learning Program combines on-campus teaching with structured online learning to provide students with a well-rounded and effective learning experience.

The program includes:
• Face-to-face classes with qualified teachers, supported by online video lessons
• In-class tests, followed by online review of incorrect questions
• Novel studies using books provided by CS, with accompanying online comprehension activities
• Formative assessments completed online and summative assessments conducted in class

Applications Now Open for Selective Entry High Schools Entrance Exam!
Students in Year 8 can now apply to sit the entrance exam for Victorian Selective Entry High Schools in 2027.
The four selective schools—Melbourne High School, Nossal High School, The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, and Suzanne Cory High School—provide excellent education for high-achieving students.
