🌊 Brooke Amos, the new Disability Program Lead for is extremely excited to attend the Launch Party and can’t wait to meet people interested in starting or pursuing their swimming journey.

πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈWhy should I consider swimming?

The water creates a low-impact environment that supports movement, strength, coordination, flexibility, and independence for people of all abilities.

πŸŠπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Swimming can improve mobility, cardiovascular fitness, muscle development, and overall wellbeing while reducing pressure on joints and the body.

🏊🏾 Beyond the physical benefits, swimming creates meaningful social connections. Being part of a swim team helps individuals build friendships, confidence, routine, teamwork, and a sense of community.

🩱The pool becomes more than a place to train, it becomes a place where everyone belongs, feels supported, and can achieve personal success.

Inclusive swimming environments empower athletes to participate, grow, and thrive at every level, from learn-to-swim programs through to competitive para swimming pathways.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to feel welcome, capable, and valued in sport β€” and swimming is a powerful way to make that happen – so make sure you come along, say hello, and find out ways you can get involved in swimming! ✨
