We are a Red Hat group in the Kalamunda area made up of ladies aged 50+ who aim to age disgracefully. PS: Members need to provide their own transport.

Check out our events to see what mischief we get up to, better yet, come and join in the fun. Do you like to have fun, want to meet new people? Come to our Natter (monthly meeting) held at the Uniting Church, Heath Rd, Kalamunda on the 2nd Saturday of the month, and find out more about our events, etc.

Our final night in Mandurah and we had a farewell pyjama party with lots of love, laughter, fun, games and homemade burgers. We have three days of bonding, singalong, sisterhood, and deepening friendships.

Although I was not present for this fabulous ceremony I want to thank my son John for keeping it secret and being involved in presenting the Oscar and sash. I know the Highnesses were having fun in Collie when this event took place, but I wanted to share it with you, because this is for you too.

As a proud member of the Highland Highnesses I am proud to
receive this Oscar and Sash on behalf of all the amazing Red Hatters that have contributed so much to the establishment, development and growth of Red Hatting in Australia).

It’s quite humbling to be the inaugural recipient of the HWA’s Red Hatter of the Year Award, I can only say that there are so many ladies who have contributed so much to Red Hatting, I would have never thought myself worthy of such an honour.

Thank you Caren and the HWA’s, you ladies are so special; I feel incredibly honoured and blessed to receive my very own “OSCAR” and special sash. I will treasure it always.

I love the idea and hope that you will continue it for years to come.

The Highland Highnesses and the Rockingham Rockettes enjoyed a delightful twilight picnic on the Rockingham foreshore with lots of fun and games. Thankyou to the Rockingham contingent from the Highland Highnesses, Elaine, Helen H, Helen M, Eileen and Kate for organising the catered picnic boxes, the fruit platters, cake, bubbles and games. A great job ladies, well done done and thankyou,
We needed a bit of cheering up after hearing the very sad news of the death of our much loved member Chris who passed away yesterday whilst holidaying in New Zealand.

The Highland Highnesses are devastated by the sudden death of our much loved member Chris Gray who died of a heart attack whilst holidaying in New Zealand. Chris has run our monthly raffle for years and was a hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated and very talented member of our chapter who is going to be sorely missed. Deepest sympathy to Tony who also helped out in so many ways. RIP beautiful Chris.
