🎀 Christine’s Wonky Tea Party Cake

A little bit whimsical, a little bit elegant - teapot, teacup, and plenty of pink for Christine’s birthday!

The lace on the board, cake, and teapot was made using Deco Original Magic Pearly White, and her name glitters with Deco Original Metallic Gold. ✨

Deco Original Magic works beautifully on chocolate ganache! Pipe directly onto the ganache, or flood your inscription in reverse, let it dry, and place it on your cake.

Because chocolate + gold = the ultimate colour contrast. 😍

All of this delicate piping was done by hand onto acetate, left to dry, and then carefully attached to the cake. Finished in Deco Magic Metallic Hot Pink and complemented with handmade icing Oriental Lilies. 🌸

These metallic cookies started out as simple Arnott’s Milk Arrowroots - iced with white fondant, then dressed up with Deco Original Magic Metallic Bronze and Pearly Yellow Lace. ✨

Frozen Dessert Test – 2014 🍨
This was a trial run of vanilla ice cream mixed with Metallic Gold Original Deco Magic for an ice cream company in Victoria that wanted gold and silver ice creams. ✨

The colour worked beautifully, but the product didn’t set quickly enough for production use. Still a fun experiment to look back on! 👩‍🍳
