We just blinked and it’s Monday again 🥺
This week we had some productive conversations with Police Community and Youth Engagement teams around strengthening positive relationships with migrant communities and young people.
Real community safety comes from trust, consistency and genuine engagement, particularly with culturally diverse and historically marginalised communities.
Keen to keep the conversation going and see more community-led approaches in action.
At a recent morning tea with the Police Commissioner Col Blanch, he said his aim was to make police redundant- for the phone calls to police to someday stop coming in.
