I love Christmas as some of you may know! Another of my projects is to photograph children at Perth Children's Hospital and Health Service for two charities, Heartfelt and The Heart Project The Heart project is a fun time, photographing kids and families on a green screen and helping editors from around the world create gorgeous fantasy images for the families. We even bring Santa into the images by the generosity of Aussie Santa; which with some funding would be great to be able to bring him to WA next year!!

This year Santa' mailroom was such a hit. It took a little longer as the kids got carried away writing their masterpiece letters to Santa, but they had great fun!! The secret elves have been and collected the letters and I have it from good authority (Aussie Santa) that they have arrived on his desk.

Christmas in Australia is beach, sand and sun, and then there is the faux snow that we all love! How many days now?? Are you organised? I certainly am not haha Can someone please come and clean my house and do my shopping?

This year the kids had a great time listening to Aussie Santa talk to them. I bought the phone to use at The Heart Project session at Perth Children's Hospital but it was also such a hit at my mini sessions.

Always a favourite photo amongst my clients new and old. How many days until Santa arrives? I am nowhere near ready although my daughter's support worker helped put up my proper tree yesterday. It always feels like Christmas from October here :)
