Proud moment in Sydney last week πŸ†

We took home Best Use of AI Content at the APAC Search Awards for our work with Discovery Alert.

This wasn’t about β€œAI for the sake of AI”. It was about building the right content framework first, then scaling it properly.

The result?
From 600 organic visits a month to exponential growth in under a year.

Huge credit to the team behind this and to clients who trust us to do things properly, not just quickly.

Thoroughly enjoyed the team event at the 80km Margaret River Ultra Marathon on the weekend. I'm sore and battered now, but it was definitely worth it.

I was tasked with bringing home the Boomtown Runners in the final leg (from Gracetown to Howard Park Wines).

Can't wait for the event next year. We'll be back faster and stronger!

I'm incredibly humbled and grateful to have been nominated for the Awards. While I may not have taken home the trophy this time around, the nomination itself was a great time to reflect how far Digital Hitmen has come in the last 7 years.

This recognition isn't just about meβ€”it's a testament of the incredible team that stands behind me every step of the way.

Sure, the realisation that I'm not getting any younger may be sinking in, but that only fuels my determination to make the most of every opportunity. With one last shot at next year's , I'm more motivated than ever to make the next 12 months at Digital Hitmen a huge success.

πŸš€ Don't Fall Victim to These Conversion Tracking Pitfalls πŸš€

In the world of digital marketing, it's often said that "some conversion tracking is better than no conversion tracking." However, this adage can be misleading. While making an effort to track conversions is crucial, there are common mistakes that can be not only misleading but also potentially detrimental to your marketing efforts.

Let's delve into these critical conversion tracking mistakes:

1️⃣ Neglecting Conversion Tracking Altogether: This cardinal sin results in a dearth of essential data, hindering informed decision-making.

2️⃣ Selective Tracking of Conversion Actions: Incomplete tracking can lead you down the wrong path, obscuring the full picture.

3️⃣ Treating All Conversions Equally: Every conversion is not created equal. Prioritise tracking the conversions that align with your business objectives.

4️⃣ Counting Non-Conversions as Conversions: This data mix-up can skew your results and lead to misguided strategies.

5️⃣ Excessive Tracking for Lead Generation: Quality should always triumph over quantity when it comes to tracking conversions for lead generation.

6️⃣ Monitoring Brief Phone Calls: Are those ultra-short phone calls truly conversions, or could they be something else entirely?

πŸ” It's imperative to scrutinise your conversion tracking practices rigorously. By optimising for clean, accurate data, you can refine your strategies and achieve superior results. πŸ’ΌπŸ“ˆ
