This is your reminder that if you're in the Geraldton region, we're excited to invite you to our upcoming Community Sundowner: Health, Rights and Resilience - an evening dedicated to meaningful connection, education, and advocacy - this upcoming Friday.
Joining forces with Desert Blue Connect and proudly supported by Lotterywest, WAAC is bringing this special event to regional WA for the first time.
On the night, guests will have the opportunity to:

Mpox cases are currently on the rise in Perth, so make sure you get vaccinated to not only protect yourself, but to protect your community.
Vaccinations are FREE at M Clinic (book on their website or give them a call), or you can visit their pop-up clinic at Perth Steam Works every Monday from 12-2pm and Thursday from 5.30-7.30pm.

You're invited to join us for this years International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, held on 17th May, where we can come together as a community to remember the many lives lost to AIDS
It is an opportunity to honour those who dedicated their lives to helping people living with and affected by HIV, and continue to mobilise our communities in solidarity.
We will be gathering at the AIDS memorial in Robertson park at 5:30pm, where we will have guest speakers from WAAC and the community, a walk through the memorial garden, and the laying of the candles.
We encourage you to come along and show your support for those who have passed, and for those still affected by HIV.
