I am beyond excited and honoured to announce that I have been invited to open the first ever West K Cabaret Festival in Hong Kong with my show Mr. Entertainment on June 2nd.
Sharing the space with icon Patti Lupone* and some incredible local and international acts, I can’t tell you how proud I am to be representing Australia and Ireland in the inaugural West K Cabaret Festival.
I will be joined by the inimitable and to pop the cabaret cork in Hong Kong and to kick the festival off with a bang. 💥
* I will without a doubt be attempting to get a loch of Patti Lupones hair. IYKYK
Bodhrán x Big Band
Ok… 1 last post before tomorrow’s big announcement.
Mr Entertainment is an ode to rhythm and the Bodhrán is the sound of my beating Irish heart! (A bit dramatic but sure why not - it’s what I do for a living) It simply had to be in the show. But ELEVATED.
Collaborating with Jack Earle on this helped me realise an idea I’ve had in my head for years now… The Bodhrán is a solo instrument that is at its most powerful when front and centre. And to present it with a slick brass arrangement was something I’ve never seen before. So unique and exciting! Past, present and future all at once.
I think this is my favourite number in the show. I think. Hope you love it too. ☺️
Mr. Bojangles
I’ve always wanted to perform this song. From Sammy Davis Jr. to Robbie Williams - such a beautiful reminiscing lament.
Mr. Entertainment has so much nostalgia coursing through it. Not only because the material is from time gone by but because I rarely tap dance anymore. To strap on the boots again and explore a medium that consumed the early part of my life is like watching a highlight reel of my own personal memories.

I did my best with the video to try and capture the playfulness of the night. Really hope you enjoy.
The severely talented assisted me with the choreography for the show and it was nothing but pure fun to see what felt slick and cheeky and natural to my personality and style.
arranged this velvety 8piece ensemble and it just screamed high class all through the show. Jack is the best I. The country at what he does. It’s insane.

Mr. Entertainment.
My salute to my innate sense of rhythm. My only real “talent” if you will. What I was born with through my parents.
My intention with this show was to capture where I am right now as an entertainer and showman. Not who I used to be or want to be but to be authentically myself in the moment. Practicing meticulously the various mediums and letting go to play a paid trust exercise with my audience.
I pitched my vision to and we joined forces to create this new old school banger that rocked the cabaret festival last year.
I collaborated with 2 of the best creatives in the country Jack Earle and Yvette Lee to bring my vision to life and without a doubt could not have been done with out them.
This is not art. This is pure entertainment forged by refined artists to make people happy. It is awesome.
