LOST & FOUND
Blended Bourbon and Whiskey Barrel Aged Stout 14% abv

โ€œNo adjuncts, just the pure, unadulterated pick of one, three and eight year old bourbon and whiskey barrel aged stouts from our collection, selected and blended to create a beer of almost unsurpassed depth and complexityโ€

Best paired with a cold evening and one of your finest ci**rs!

GOLDEN Real Ale 4.6% and now in easy drinking 375ml cans.

Golden is brewed with 100% Veloria malt from and hopped in the boil & whirlpool with RH01, Red Earth & Chinook from to 32 IBU. Fermented in stainless steel without temperature control using an English strain called Yonder from Packaged in March and can conditioned for 3 weeks before release.

The end result is a delight and you can taste the work that has gone into making a real ale!

Honey & bready malt on the palette with a slight to***co note in the background, this beer is extremely moreish and could easily enjoy a 4 pack on a fine autumn day.

Keep it real!

This is just a tribute to the greatest hazy maker in WA!
28 days off the booze had me craving one of beers! So blessed to have these guys as my local.

Double dry hopped with Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and cryo Nelson Sauvin.

This hop bill smells like itโ€™s wearing jandals and holding a wine glass!

lime-soaked gooseberry, passionfruit, lemon sherbet, and a soft herbal lift with that sauvignon blanc vibe.

Soft bitterness that lingers without scraping the palate.

Glad to finally be back on the beers but itโ€™s good to have a break now & then ๐Ÿ˜‚

latest is a proper dank bomb from the Wellington wizards. Pours clear gold like a Shire sunset before Frodo legs it for 6 months!!

Grapefruit, pine needles, pineapple and a cheeky whiff of the good green on the nose. Smells like Gandalf tidied Fangorn with a chainsaw!
A resinous slap up front, pure West Coast with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Strata and Mosaic doing the damage. Citrus and pine roll in, then a terpy finish thatโ€™d have Pippin checking his pockets going โ€œwait, was that me?โ€

Stupidly drinkable and properly dank. Treebeard would nodโ€ฆ eventually.

Cheers ๐Ÿป

Fresh Juuuuice!!

Picked up some fresh Riwaka hazy IPA from today and itโ€™s tasting pretty phenomenal!

The riwaka hops are putting on a show with a zesty & herbal dank aroma.

Intense fruit flavours are powerful with prominent grapefruit, lemon rind and tropical passionfruit notes.

Hazy boys rejoice, your prayers have been answered. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ’ฆ ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ

IIPA โ€˜25

Balter bringing back an OG! I still remember 2019 when this was first released in a huge can and then given a slight recipe tweak in 2020!

This release has returned to its original recipe in a more manageable sized tinny and nostalgia has come flooding back!

Bursting with pineapple, mango and citrus on the ๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿผ
A clean hop character, with luscious tropical fruit sweetness rushing through taste. Itโ€™s still 8% so it hits hard!

Forever thankful to the team at Balter for continuously letting me sample their bangers! ๐Ÿป

๐Ÿบ Adelaide Brewery Tour ๐Ÿบ
It was another short trip in Adelaide mixing business with pleasure and this time visiting a couple of breweries for the first time. was fun diving into a sludgey paddle of stouts and was especially a highlight trying Detroit style deep dish pizza for the first time, beers were ok too ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚

Until next time..

What others are worth a visit?

Visited for their Smoked Meats Sunday platter on probably Perthโ€™s wildest winters day! Despite the Beer garden being rained out there was still plenty of warm seating found inside the brew shed.

The smoked meat platter for two was a generous size and everything was cooked on point!

Paired with some new limited release beers like the Bacon beer, funk red or funk black this is a match made in heaven!
Highly recommend but make sure you pre order ๐Ÿ˜‰
Cheers! ๐Ÿป

Had a cheeky Monday beer thanks to Chef Andy from Funk! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿบ

This latest limited release is a Black IPA that pours jet-black with a tan head, then surprises you with bright, resinous West Coast hops. You get rich notes of espresso and dark chocolate from the roasted malts, balanced by a crisp, pine-forward bitterness and a bone-dry finish.
This is lovely stuff and itโ€™s been way too long since visiting the venue who are releasing some tasty seasonals right now!

Cheers! ๐Ÿป
