🐾 Enrichment for Dogs 🐾

Enrichment is a fantastic way to provide mental stimulation for dogs of all ages! 🐶💙

Whether you’re using a snuffle mat, lick mat, Kong, enrichment toy, or freezing food into trays and bowls when the weather warms up, there are so many ways to make mealtimes and treats more exciting.

Dogs are naturally designed to chew, sniff, explore and use their noses. Enrichment allows them to use these natural behaviours in a positive and rewarding way.

✨ Enrichment can help:

* 🧠 Keep their minds active
* 👃 Encourage natural sniffing and foraging
* 🦷 Provide appropriate chewing opportunities
* 😌 Encourage calmness and relaxation
* 🐾 Reduce boredom
* ❤️ Make food and treats more engaging

Remember: Start with small amounts and always introduce new foods gradually. Some foods may not be suitable for every dog, so check that ingredients are safe for your individual dog.

This Wednesday is the last Wednesday for group training before term 4 starts next week Saturday.
See you all at 5pm

Next Saturday train with coffee

Parvovirus alert 🐾

City of Wanneroo residents are being advised to ensure their dogs are vaccinated following confirmed cases of parvovirus at the Wanneroo Animal Care Centre.

The highly contagious virus causes vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy and dehydration in dogs, and can potentially be fatal.

If you are not sure if your dog is up to date with their vaccinations or if your dog is showing any of the symptoms above, please contact your family vet.
