June tasting The Heritage Wine Store
This month, the wonderful Faber Vineyard is joining the The Heritage Wine Store tasting table.
Faber Vineyard was established in 1997 by John Griffiths and Jane Micallef, with Faber being the Latin word for craft. The name was chosen because of John's belief that winemaking is a skill learned, but never perfected; a craft.
John spent 10 years honing his winemaking skills in warm climates before arriving in the Swan Valley. He recognised that the Swan Valley was unique in its ability to produce delicate, refined white wines, smooth, generously flavoured and long-lived red wines, and extremely rich, luscious liqueur styles.
John joins us in store this month for a look at four wines from the range, alongside The Heritage's beverage director and sommelier, Mirco Tarducci.
