These are quickly becoming my favourite day of the month, motherhood really is made easier when we connect, share the load and fill out cups.
Hope to see you there ❤️

Had a baby in the past year?
Researchers from ECU, Flinders University, the University of Sydney and the University of Sheffield are studying ethical maternity care and are inviting women who have given birth in the last 12 months to complete a short 10-minute anonymous survey.
Your experience matters and can help improve maternity care.

Our monthly catch up is on again and we can't wait to see you.
When the days are long and the nights are even longer isolation creeps in, well-meaning family say things that aren't helpful and you find yourself looking back at someone in the mirror who isn't quite the same. Matrescence is a wild ride, but I promise you it's far easier when we are together.
So come down and feel your cup, with love with laughter and with coffee.
See you soon ❤️
$10 ticket per family, goes towards a shared fruit platter. Link in bio to book 🔗

I'm not going to lie, last year was hard, change was not at the pace that I wanted it to be and there was many disappointing turns. However I think 2026 is going to be a much more fruitful year and this is a big reason why.
I was recently interviewed by Fiona Stanley Hospital to help call for consumers to be involved in the new South Metro Birth Trauma Advisory Committee. We attended the initial meeting recently and it was a huge turning point in this massive campaign for change.
The people that have come together around the table for this advisory committee are passionate and dedicated individuals who are ready to see the change that we have been begging for.
I left Fiona Stanley in May of 2020 a broken and traumatised woman after the birth of my first baby. I was so shocked and traumatised by what happened I didn't think there was light at the end of the tunnel.
But I now proudly share this with you, a real beacon of light, and hope for change.
I truly believe that this group will find success and that we will continue to steer the huge ship, that is maternity care, back to women centered, consensual and trauma-informed care.
If you are wanting to help affect change please consider applying for this group. This is a place where lived experience is truly valued and our stories of suffering and heartbreak can help prevent this for others in the future.
Exciting things on the horizon!
A penny for your thoughts?
Why does the algorithm hate us. All I wanted was the school holiday break!
