Thank you to , , and for inviting us to the closing of the Perth French Film Festival. The movie was Rodrigue in Love, and it was such a sweet romantic comedy! We were also treated to wine and delectable pastries, delicious. 😜 It was a lovely ending to the amazing array of films that have made up the festival, which were expertly curated to show the variety, diversity and quality of what French cinema has to offer. The only downside, is that it’s over for the year, but will have other French events, if you can’t wait until 2027 for your next fix. 😜

Thank you to .au and for hosting a lovely evening. I sadly couldn’t capture every single designer, as the store was packed, but I think the large turnout is a good thing. 😜 Thank you also to for making me these beautiful shoes, I will treasure them. Also, my mum watched my podcast episode with and laughed when I described my style as ‘poverty chic’. She said I must tell my followers more about this, so this is mum ordered. 😜 Oh, and poverty chic just means I wear what I already own, instead of buying new things. So let’s break down my outfit, when it comes to poverty chic. 😜 My dress was bought for me from an op shop by my nanna, because she thought I’d like it. Thanks, nanna. 😜 My jacket was kindly gifted by the uber talented , but I wish I’d taken a photo of the back, it’s really cool! I hadn’t worn it because it was too warm before now for jackets, but will definitely be wearing it again as it gets cooler! My brooch is a fascinator and a chain from my skirt I safety pinned into place, and my tie is one I pinched from my husband. 😜 In all seriousness, though, I love shopping local, and adore the fact .au incorporates so many amazing small local designers together. Make sure you check out the store, they have some new designers that have come along, and you will definitely find a piece in there that’s unique and beautiful, and, quite often, one of a kind!
P.S. Someone told me I have a celebrity face and should be in movies, so that made my evening. 😜

Thank you to for this lovely shot from . I met Stuart at the Wes Anderson photo shoot and then got to see him again at Comic Con. In other news, though, sadly, the last few days have been tremendously poopy. I was so pleased how well things had been going with my iron infusion, and felt hopeful it would make a huge difference with my health. Then my body decided to give me a several weeks long period to dump all that iron and make me feel weak again. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I looked it up online and apparently this isn’t uncommon for women when they get an iron infusion, it’s like the body wants to reject it all. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I will go to the doctor and get it sorted, but first I have to deal with the power as ours decided to go out Easter Sunday evening, so I think we can expect a big electrician bill as a lovely Easter present. 🤣 Oh, well, what can you do? 😅😅 I hope your Easter has gone better than mine. 😜
