One of our amazing participants, Deni, has just wrapped up her second week at her new job and she’s absolutely shining! ✨

Her confidence has grown so much since day one, and with the support of her support worker, she’s built a strong routine to help her settle into her new role. We’re so proud of you, Deni!

Declan is supported by Prevail Care in his home and community, and he’s truly a jack of all trades! From building and reinforcing his own boats and planes to testing them out at local parks and lakes, Declan’s creativity knows no bounds.

If something can be pulled apart, fixed, or made stronger, Declan’s your man! He’s also very safety-conscious, always making sure that only those with experience use his machines, while his support team watches and cheers him on. 👏

We’re excited to see Declan take his skills to the next level as he begins attending his local Men’s Shed, where he’ll have access to more tools, materials, and opportunities to grow his talents even further. We can’t wait to see what he creates next!

🌟 Meet Declan! 🌟
Declan lives independently in one of the houses we provide with the amazing support of the Prevail Care team.

While he’s always up for some fun and games, Declan also loves rolling up his sleeves and getting involved in everyday life. Since joining Prevail Care, he’s developed a real passion for keeping his home tidy, from making his own breakfast to vacuuming, mopping, doing the washing, and even helping make the support team’s beds (sometimes with a good laugh along the way).

Watching Declan’s confidence and independence grow has been such a privilege. This is what we’re all about at Prevail Care, working with people, not for them, to build capacity, skills, and self-belief every step of the way.
