Moonsighting Australia has confirmed that the moon was sighted in Brisbane, accordingly Eid Ul-Fitr will be tomorrow. Salatul Eid will be at 8am at Perth Mosque followed by our special Eid curry Inshallah.

Eid Al Fitr will be on Friday the 20th of March 2026 at The Perth Mosque.
Eid Namaz will be at 10am.
Please join us for food which will be served at 10.30am.

👉 Fidya is $20 for each missed day of fasting.

Allah (SWT) says: “And upon those who are able to fast but with hardship, there is a ransom: feeding a poor person.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:184)

For every day missed due to a valid reason, $20 should be given to feed a person in need.

Ramadan Start Date announced as 19th of February 2026. The Perth Mosque calendar for Ramadan Timings is also attached. For a hard copy please collect from the Mosque. Please note that Tarawih prayers start straight after Isha prayers.

Khutba is at 1.00pm and Salat is at 1.30pm for Jummah prayers.

Confirming that Eid Al Adha will be on Friday the 6th of June 2025 at The Perth Mosque.
Eid Namaz will be at 10am.
Please join us for food which will be served at 10.30am.

For those who follow moonsighting, Perth Mosque will also have Eid prayers on Saturday 7th of June at 8.30 am followed by food insha Allah.

This Eid date will be both for the people celebrating Eid with the Moonsighting as well as the Australian Fatwa Council. Inshallah we will be celebrating on the same day.
